Swedish House Mafia have signed to Columbia Records.

The trio - comprised of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello - opted for the Sony Music Entertainment-owned U.S record label over the advances of Universal Music Group imprint, Republic Records.

Columbia is home to some of the world's biggest acts, including various electronic artists including Diplo, Calvin Harris, Gesaffelstein and LCD Soundsystem.

Coinciding with the news is three other big developments from the re-emerging Swedish supergroup: as well as headlining Ultra Korea in June and playing Lollapalooza Berlin alongside Martin Garrix, Don Diablo and many others across 7-8 September, they have teased the prospect of a new L.A. date via Instagram:

Swedish House Mafia recently confirmed a show in Ibiza this summer.
